Where is Sussex?

Hi, I am Jon, your roving reporter, and I am in Sussex, your partner county. I am here to help you find out where in the world Sussex is and what it looks like. Sussex is a county in the south of England. Two thirds of Sussex are said to be areas of outstanding natural beauty. It has a wide a varied landscape with 80 miles of sandy beaches and rugged chalk cliffs as well as the beautiful rolling hills of the Sussex downs. It also has its place in history as it saw the infamous battle of Hastings in 1066 when the Normans invaded and defeated the Saxons, an event that changed the face of the UK forever.
