Where is Nottinghamshire?

Hi, I am Bryony, your roving reporter, and I am in Nottinghamshire, your partner community.
I am here to help you find out where in the world Nottinghamshire is and what it looks like. Nottinghamshire is a large county and it is said to be where the North of England begins. It is a rural county with lots of farm land and, of course, Sherwood Forest. Industry is also important to the county; in years gone by you might have seen the pit head of a mine surrounded by farms whereas now you might see a power station in the middle of beautiful countryside.
