Where is Kent?
Hi, I am Jon, your roving reporter. I am in Kent, your partner community and I'm here to help you find out where in the world Kent is and what it looks like.
Kent is a county in southeast England. It borders East Sussex, Surrey and Greater London and even has a boundary with France in the middle of the English Channel. Kent's location between London and Europe has led to it being at the front line of several conflicts, including the Battle of Britain during World War II.
If you visit Kent you will find; miles of coastline with beautiful beaches and rugged chalk cliffs including the famous white cliffs of Dover, towns such as Cantebury and Rochester made famous by the writers Chaucer and Dickens and weather that allows an abundance of orchards and hop fields to grow giving Kent the title of the Garden of England.
You can look at what I discovered by clicking on the arrow below. Make sure you scroll through all of my pictures because when you get to the final page you'll find the WebPlay quiz. If you get all the questions right you'll get a piece of WebPlay Clip Art to upload onto your homepage on thinkquest.org. So...what are you waiting for?
